HELP US RAISE $30,000 BY YEAR’S END!

We’re committed to opening arts access to everyone. That is why, this year alone, Silicon Valley Shakespeare has contributed $100,000 in free admission, and nearly $1.95M in our 26-year history. But in prioritizing giving back to the community, we’ve necessarily withheld investing in our own needs. As a result, we have lighting and sound equipment so old, that the technology is now obsolete or a fire hazard, so we are in desperate need of modern replacements. We’ve also just learned that Sanborn Park’s barn, which we’ve used as storage for more than 20 years, has been condemned and is no longer available. We now have the unexpected added expense of renting multiple storage units to house our equipment, audience chairs, and other stock.

The funds we raise this holiday season will allow us to finally invest in crucial equipment and dramatically improve your audience experience at our productions, continue our commitment to arts access services, and more, all while still delivering free and subsidized-cost theatre admission to our community.

All donations toward our fundraising efforts accrue toward our Donors Circle program with benefits like early-seating entry at Sanborn Park, exclusive early access to A Christmas Carol tickets, complimentary upgrades to Royal Seating (those cushy chairs at the back of the audience), invitations to special preshow receptions, complimentary concessions items like free wine, and so much more!
